Can I collect the money in US Dollars?
No. All MTSS inbound remittances (Western Union) must be paid out in Indian Rupees (INR) per Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regulations.
Are there limits on Western Union cash payouts?
Yes. Payouts up to ₹50,000 can be given in physical cash. Amounts above ₹50,000 must be paid via cheque, demand draft, or bank transfer directly into the receiver's account.
